Our Mission

To Bring The Art Experience to Upper Kittitas County

Our mission at Pacific Crest Creatives is to bring art into the community of Upper Kittitas County via unusual art for sale, classes, art supplies for sale, studio space, and outreach.

RAD ART: We offer a competitive, high contrast, well-rounded curated art space that aims to spotlight regional, locally talented artists- while helping them grow their reach with online sales through our website. Our art is unusual, unique, collectible, and will not be the types of things you see at your average booth event or standard art gallery. We also treat our artists with respect by offering them a competitive rate. We are striving to help end the "Starving Artist" lifestyle by allowing our artists to keep more money in their pockets, compared to the average retail setting. This allows our artists to not only be able to possibly make that jump to afford better quality materials,  or new tools and equipment for their future art - but helps them build a better life for themselves.

EDUCATION: We offer classes in small groups, in different mediums, at different skill levels, at a range of price points, with workshop time requirements, for different age groups publicly or privately- usually accepting anywhere from 1-6 people at a time. Our goal is to help others realize art should be accessible to anyone- regardless of medium or skillset. Our teaching environment makes it easy to adhere to current Covid-19 regulations. We are currently problem-solving to integrate school aged kids into our space to compliment the current Upper Kittitas County's decision for online/remote learning this school year.

PROFESSIONAL ART SUPPLIES: In order to facilitate accessibility to fine arts in the Upper Kittitas area, we will be selling professional grade, name brand fine art supplies for purchase so our customers can immediately continue their walk with art in their home environment (water color, charcoal, acrylics supplies, and more). Tools and materials for sale will also include those for metalsmithing - spotlighting jewelry making tools and equipment made by PepeTools (A USA tool manufacturer out of Oklahoma City, OK).

MAKING A DIFFERENCE: Giving back is important to PCC and the artists we associate with! Together, we donate 5% of art sales to an approved non-profit of each artist's choice every time one of their pieces if purchased from our storefront or our online shop. Want to see non-profits that are keeping great margins, doing good work, and making a difference with their programs and funds? Click HERE to see who PCC is endorsing. We make it easy for you to look into them yourself, too- by transparently providing links and information.

STUDIO: We have one resident artist on site - Charity of Ghost Town Metal Works - who will be goldsmithing in her own studio space in the back, in addition to teaching metalsmithing classes on site.  She is a business partner to PCC, curates our art gallery, and has her own display as well.

FAMILY-FRIENDLY: We have a spacious upstairs that is geared towards kiddos - 10 and under. Family and children's art classes will be offered. Childcare is available in the upstairs area during certain adult/teen classes. Special attention is paid to this aspect in our curation of our art gallery. We look to have 1-2 "Up and Coming Young Artist Shows" featured in our gallery every year. Sign up for our e-letters to get notifications on when we are accepting applications from our young and talented artists.

PRIVATE EVENTS: PCC will be available for private events! This can expand to just entertaining in our space, to having private art lessons behind a locked door. This option is also perfect for the current Covid-19 Pandemic to assist individuals or families that are quarantined due to high health risk. This allows the mental relief to be in a disinfected space, without public access during the duration of the class time. This means you can practice a new or developing skill, then afterwards purchase needed supplies to immediately take home with you for more practice in your near future!
