November 2020 - Check out this great interview of Charity with Madison - who is the Director of Tourism for Cle Elum, Wa, via Chamber of Commerce.
Pacific Crest Creatives, LLC the result of a well-thought out collaborative partnership between Cle Elum residents Charity Wanechek and Travis Harris. Charity and Travis worked (under the radar) on the idea of PCC together for over two years before bringing it to fruition at the end of Summer 2020.
Charity's love for art knows no bounds. Charity has lived in the Cle Elum area since 2012 and is married to a Cle Elum native (Arron Wanechek). She and her little family adore the outdoors, the culture, and the opportunities the Pacific Northwest offers. She has a minor in Art from Whitworth University in Spokane WA and uses that knowledge to meticulously curate the front gallery at PCC. After relocating the majority of her at-home jewelry studio, Charity is now running her other business Ghost Town Metal Works (a mostly-custom Goldsmithing business) in PCC. Originally a Nevada Native, her Nevada roots run deep - she shows it in her Western-Inspired jewelry. Charity will be offering metalsmithing classes, as well as in other mediums.
Travis has lived in Cle Elum for many years. He has a Master in Public Administration and is a career firefighter. When Travis isn't at PCC, he is either on shift as a Lieutenant and Paramedic of a fire station near Tacoma, spending time with his family, or helping with administrative tasks at 509 Bake House just next door (owned and operated by his wife Desiree Harris). Travis enjoys hunting and the great outdoors - especially visits to Montana. He looks forward to seeing how PCC evolves with Upper County.
